About Gabbie
Meet Gabbie
The Korean name Youn means lotus — a symbol of resilience, transformation, and purity. Just as the lotus rises from muddy water to bloom into something beautiful, I believe we all have the capacity to grow, heal, and flourish, regardless of life's challenges.
My journey into wellbeing began with a simple search for peace. As a child, whenever there was conflict at home, I would quietly pray. Time after time, I witnessed the tension soften and peace return. Those experiences taught me that there is a quiet power in prayer, intention, and the unseen forces that can be felt with the heart.
Years later, while working as a flight attendant, I struggled with insomnia. A colleague introduced me to meditation, and after my very first practice, I experienced a deep, restful sleep. That moment changed the direction of my life and inspired a lifelong journey of exploring health, healing, and human potential.
Over the years, I practised yoga, running, dance, and meditation before discovering Qi Gong and Sheng Zhen Meditation. Under the guidance of Teacher Elena Villacorta Cortez, I have studied Sheng Zhen Meditation and Tai Chi Plus for more than seven years. These practices taught me that true healing begins within — through right intention, consistent practice, and an open heart.
As my journey continued, I discovered the transformative power of sound healing. Today, I combine mindful breathing, meditation, Tai Chi, Sheng Zhen moving and still meditation, and therapeutic sound — including crystal singing bowls, tuning forks, the gong, and the handpan — to help calm the nervous system, restore balance, and support overall wellbeing.
Before entering the wellness field, I spent many years in the finance and real estate industries. Having experienced both the demands of corporate life and the transformative power of these practices, I understand what it feels like to seek balance in a busy world.
At the heart of my work is a simple belief:
“Every person already carries the ability to heal within themselves. My role is not to heal others, but to gently hold a space where their own inner wisdom and natural capacity for healing can awaken.”
I support people who may be experiencing:
- 🌿Stress, anxiety or an overactive mind
- 🌿Sleep difficulties and emotional exhaustion
- 🌿Low energy, stiffness or disconnection from the body
- 🌿Grief, life transitions and emotional challenges
At Youn Space, my hope is to help you reconnect with your inner wisdom and gently find your way home.
Nothing brings me greater joy than seeing people leave a session with lighter hearts, calmer minds, and genuine smiles. I believe that peace is contagious. When one person finds peace within themselves, that peace naturally flows to their family, friends, workplace, and community.
Youn Space is the way you come home.

What people say
Heard from those who came.
“I had no idea what to expect. Part of me was even reluctant to come because I'm so busy, but I thought — I'm going to make time for myself. And it was just an incredible experience. Beautiful connection, beautiful food, the sauna, and Tai Chi in a beautiful garden. 10 out of 10. If I could give it 11, I would.”
— Sima
“Beautiful food, sauna, understanding each other's background, coming out and having a little bit of dance. As women, we carry so much responsibility — so we need some time to relax and be on our own. The whole program designed by Gabbie was amazing. And the food was so yummy — all plant-based, healthy protein. Looking forward to even more later on.”
— Thi
“Self love starts from us — and when we have abundance, we can give more on a long-term basis. Being here, sharing stories with other women and learning from each other is amazing. We definitely want to come back because it's such a worthwhile day.”
